Will the writing come off completely, or does it leave marks behind?
Wipe it soon after writing and it clears cleanly. If a note has sat for a week or two, a slightly damp cloth takes care of it. Avoid permanent markers — those won't lift.
Will it stay on the fridge, or slide down when the door shuts?
The magnetic backing holds it flat against the door. For the strongest hold, press it onto a clean, dry, smooth surface — wipe away any grease or moisture first.
Can I use it on a stainless steel fridge?
Most stainless fridges are magnetic, but some outer panels are not. Test with a regular kitchen magnet first. If it doesn't stick, the side panel or a metal cabinet usually works.
What kind of marker should I use?
Any standard dry-erase marker. Fine-tip markers work best for the calendar squares. Keep one on the fridge so nobody has an excuse not to write things down.
